What is RPCS3?
RPCS3 is a multi-platform open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows, Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD. Development began in May 2011 by founders DH and Hykem. The project experiments, researches, and educates on PlayStation 3 emulation that can be performed on compatible devices and operating systems. All hardware and software information was obtained legally through purchasing PlayStation 3 hardware and software.
